THE COTTAGE

We have decorated and furnished our cottage with care, ready to receive friends and family.   It is small but cosy,  surrounded by trees it enjoys real privacy.

Downstairs there is a small sitting room with a sofa, an armchair and a small table for eating indoors.  Adjacent to this is a shower room and a  small bedroom with a double bed.   The kitchen, leading off the other side of the sitting room, is fully equipped with an oven, electric hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, microwave, kettle and coffee machine.

Leading out of the sitting room is a spiral staircase that takes you to a large bedroom, with a double bed and a single bed.  There are also drawers and hanging space for your clothes.

 Please be aware that the bathroom and living space is quite small, and while the cottage  is a cosy for a young family, it is not so well suited to more than two adults staying.  If you would like to visit with friends, I am happy to arrange for the second couple to stay at a nearby B&B, which would not stop you enjoying meals and spending the days together.

When you arrive the cottage will be ready for you.  The beds made up and towels in the bathroom.   For stays of over one week, fresh linen will be brought in and the cottage cleaned at the end of each week.

In Spring and Summer it's nice to eat outside, there is a garden table and chairs, a barbecue and deck chairs for you to enjoy.  The WiFi connection works inside the cottage and in the garden.

If you come with young children they will have fun in the playhouse next to the cottage.
